Hospitality highlight of the Summer: HITEC
2005 |

Major
hospitality technology highlight of the year HITEC 2005 pulled
hundreds of hospitality professionals over the whole world to the
Los Angeles Convention Center during 20-23 June.
Nevotek was
also present at the show, displaying innovations in convergence for
the hospitality industry. In addition to the world-wide popular
"V/IP Suite" product, Nevotek also displayed:

IPT
Comfort: a unique Nevotek development that enables in
room controls (lights, shades, hvac) direct from the IP Phone.

Wired-Wireless Convergence: another unique Nevotek
innovation that converges the in room IP phone with the guest's
smartphone/pda. This service was developed over the Sprint
Network.

IPT
Office: A Nevotek set of applications integrated
together to make any IP IP phone more efficient and more
enjoyable to use
New
enhancements on the V/IP Suite made it the convergence application
of choice worldwide. Unique Nevotek Architecture that integrates all
mayor telecommunications components of a hotel was valued very much
by the visitors.
One attraction
of the show was a draw for two 3rd generation cellular
data access cards made available by Sprint. These gadgets are on the
wish list of all mobile professionals and we have observed great
expectations from our visitors while dropping business cards into
the bucket. At the draw end of the Show, the lucky winners were "Hayri
Gurbuz" of Mohegan Sun, and "Zackary Nelson" of Starwood Hotels. |

Cisco-Nevotek Service Provider Hosted Hotel Opens |

Dubai has became well known for a lot of firsts
during the last years. Lightning speed of development in the region
makes Dubai a very unique location.
Another first became a reality few months ago.
Based on the Cisco converged infrastructure and Nevotek convergence
applications, the first Service Provider hosted IP hotel opened.
"Tulip Inn Hotel, Knowledge Village - Dubai" has
started its operation as a Hosted IP Hotel. Dubai Internet City
Service Provider "TECOM" delivers total telecommunications services
including Nevotek V/IP Suite |
